Pastor Doug Dameron and his wife Shellie moved their family to Northeast Denver, as they saw a need for church community in the Denver metro area. Between 2005 and 2014, they moved locations several times to accommodate their growing congregation. In the Fall of 2014, they purchased 38 acres and enlisted SPACE to aid in the programming and designing of their new building. Their new 50,000 square foot building opened for services in the Fall of 2017 and are now serving over 2,200 attendees each week. The building is a single-story facility designed to serve over 1,200 attendees in each service including a fully-equipped children’s department and church administrative offices. The concept for the architecture was a modern interpretation of Adirondack “lodge” style with painted and exposed structure, polished concrete flooring, and a neutral color palette.
