The East Frisco campus of Hope Fellowship Church was quickly outgrowing their existing sanctuary, classrooms and office spaces. SPACE worked to redesign their existing building, dedicating all areas to the children and youth departments; while also creating a large addition that would allow for a new sanctuary and additional volunteer spaces. This addition was designed to be a modern compliment to the original style and materials of the existing building. The completed project exceeds 100,000 square feet of floor space, and the new auditorium will seat over 1,600 attendees in each service.
The new McKinney campus for Hope Fellowship was originally a large grocery store within a larger retail complex. SPACE initially assisted with the Church’s first “multi-site” location by providing architectural programming and designed the renovations to best serve the local congregation’s needs. All structure was painted and left exposed, ceiling clouds were added to the lobby areas for visual interest, all concrete flooring was dyed and polished, and the front entrance columns received a stone application that complimented the existing building materials.
The new Hope Fellowship Church campus located in West Frisco, TX also originated as a large grocery store within a larger retail complex and was the second multi-site campus. The renovation began in March of 2013 and was completed within the same calendar year. Having more floor area available at the time than the original home campus, the Church moved their administrative offices to this location as part of the architectural program.
